Your customer reads their results in their portal.

The results they bought appear there, each with the value achieved against the target and the percentage completed. They see where they stand without waiting for the next review.

Your Internal Outcomes stay between your teams.

An Internal Outcome is attached to a journey, or to the whole team when it targets no customer. It has its owner, a person or a group, and its deadline. No customer contact has access to it.

The gap is written in the outcome's unit.

For an Internal Outcome, Sekential writes the gap to target in its unit, with the days left or the days overdue. With no target set, the outcome shows "Not measured".

Questions about Business Outcomes

Customer Outcomes and Internal Outcomes
A Customer Outcome is a result your customer bought; they read it in their portal. An Internal Outcome is a target for your team; no customer contact sees it.
Defining a customer's results
You write them in the journey template. Each journey launched from this template keeps its own copy, with its own achieved value.
Achieved value
Your team enters it on the journey, result by result.
Outcomes with no customer
An Internal Outcome can target the whole team, with no journey: the number of onboardings to complete this quarter, for example.
Health score
Sekential calculates no health score. Each outcome shows its target and its value, which your team can check, and a journey's weather follows a written rule.
Outcome statuses
Draft, Started, Paused, Achieved or Missed. An achieved or missed outcome no longer runs against its deadline.
